What are you willing to do for $5?

What are you willing to do for $5?

by Brad MerrillMarch 6, 2010

Fiverr is a marketplace of small tasks that are each priced at $5.  Anyone can create a gig on the site, and others can accept the gig.  Buyers are required to pay their $5 in advance.  Fiverr makes money by taking $1 off the $5 fee.

The gigs people post are widely varied.  They range from installing WordPress on a server to manually turning your photo into an Avatar character.

The idea for this site is genius.  You may not have complete assurance that your task is going to be completed exactly the way you want it, but it’s only $5 you’re losing!  Fiverr posts feedback for its users, so you can use that as an indication as to who you can trust.
