Google May Be Merging Gmail Accounts With Google Apps Accounts

by Brad MerrillMarch 14, 2010

Many web users like myself have come to the realization that Gmail is the best email provider out there because of its data storage capacity, spam filtering, and overall usability.
However, there is one flaw with Google’s email service. If you use Google Apps for work email and Gmail for personal email, you have to maintain two different accounts. Google is taking notice.
Google employees have to use “@google.com” addresses for work and Gmail addresses for personal email, so they know what a pain it is. Rest assured, Google is working to combine the two services. They weren’t very specific, so we don’t know when or how it’ll happen, but they’re working on it.
