Quick Vacation Tip: Does That Enterprise Rental Car REALLY Have Satellite Radio?

by Brad MerrillApril 3, 2010

Are you going somewhere for spring break this year?  Maybe you’ll be renting a car from a business like Enterprise.  If so, one feature you might be looking forward to seeing in your car is satellite radio.  Enterprise advertises satellite radio in many of its newer cars, but those cars might not actually have a satellite radio subscription.

Basically, Enterprise purchases cars with satellite radio installed, and they get a free trial subscription.  As soon as that trial expires, that’s it.  They don’t pay for subscriptions.

I just thought I’d share that with you guys because I had to find out the hard way.  If satellite radio is something you really want to have in your car, you might want to check it before making your final decision on a car.
