Apple Fanboy Meets Apple Fangirl: Cupidtino

by Brad MerrillJune 5, 2010

Cupidtino is a dating site for Apple fanboys and fangirls to connect and find love.  The name is a wordplay on Cupid and the city of Cupertino, which is where Apple’s headquarters are located.  Cupidtino publicly launched yesterday, allowing all you Apple fans to find your soul mates.  Or at least people of the opposite sex who won’t laugh at you for hugging your new Macbook Pro.

Essentially, Cupidtino is like any other dating site, but it has some extra Apple features.  It allows you to add info about yourself, such as “when you became a Mac” and a list of the gadgets you own.  You can “Mac” someone, which is like poking them on other sites.  You can also arrange a physical meetup at the nearest Apple store with your Apple-passionate companion.

Currently, there are roughly 600 men listed on the site.  Unfortunately, only 100 fangirls have profiles on the site.  Will this trend change?  Somehow I doubt it.
