The Best Android App For World Cup 2010 Coverage

by Brad MerrillJune 11, 2010

Do you follow the World Cup?  Me either.  Oh, wait…you do?  In that case, this app will be perfect for you.

World DroidCup is currently the most downloaded World Cup Android app, and that isn’t surprising considering all the features it has.  Users can see group listings, a competition tree and a fixtures table.

The competition tree is laid out similarly to March Madness brackets, which makes it very easy on the eyes.

Probably the best feature in this app is the stadium map.  It uses Google Maps to pinpoint the locations of games.  By selecting one of the points, the user can get all kinds of information about the location, as well as the matches that are to be played there.

You can use the Android Barcode Scanner to scan this barcode and download the app.
