5 Business Events For August And Autumn

We are well into summer now, and a number of really great business events and conferences have passed their application dates. But if you missed them, don’t fret! There are plenty of great events coming in August and the fall months. Each one is still open to new submissions and participant applications, so you don’t have to worry about losing our on your chance to attend.

1. Content Marketing World (September 9 – 11, 2013)

Content is one of the most crucial tools you have at your disposal for marketing today. Whether it is online or off, you have to keep up with the changing trends of the industry to remain ahead of the competition. This conference takes some of the biggest companies around the world, invited their marketers to talk, and provides a brilliant collection of lectures and networking opportunities. Some of the speakers this year will include Heather Meza of Cisco, Martin Baker of Hersheys, Ann Handley of Content Rules, and Jonathan Mildenhall of Coca-Cola.

2. Dreamforce (November 18 – 21, 2013)

Join other industry leaders in the business world to discuss selling, marketing and succeeding in a landscape that has forever been changed by the digital world. Learn how to engage with customers on a deeper lever with workshops dedicated to improving overall customer communication and service. There will be an incredible 1,000 sessions to choose from, including everything from analytics to release management in a large enterprise. 3. Leadership for Peace and Prosperity (October 3 – 5, 2013)

Details are still a bit scarce, but the conference Leadership for Peace and Prosperity has been announced! Presented by the Center for Peace and Commerce, the Ahlers Center for International Business and the Institute for Economics and Peace, the conference will be held at the University of San Diego in San Diego, California.

If you are planning a trip there, be sure to read this San Diego guide and maybe save money with San Diego Go Card. This includes a day dedicated to the Annual Summit on Peace and Prosperity Through Trade and Commerce that will be held on the 4th. This is always a popular event that bring some of the biggest industry leaders for lectures and panel discussions. 4. Big Awards For Business (August 14, 2013)

Brought to you by the Business Intelligence Group, this is a series of awards for various companies on all levels of development. From best startup to new products, you can submit a company for possible inclusion until August 14. They also have individual awards, so feel free to submit a person instead of the business itself.

5. Realizing Your Dream (November 8, 2013)

Citi Group brings you their Realizing Your Dream program. It is an entrepreneur investment service dedicated to veterans who want to break into the business world. You can apply for funding for your startup, and gain help every step of the way.
